At Circuit Analysis we do Worst Case Analysis (WCA) for high reliability power supply designs. This includes DC-DC converters for military and aerospace hardware. The idea is to see if the designs will meet their requirements over a given lifetime and extreme environmental conditions like large temperature swings and high radiation doses.
Additionally, we are working on designs to provide custom hardware and test equipment products as complete packages to our customers. These R&D projects will require designing and building racks with a mix of off the shelf and custom test equipment for analyzing the functionality and quality of production power supply units.
Motivated attitude and ability to learn are the most important pre-existing skills. The job requires knowing or learning to program in languages like TCL, VBA and Python; SPICE circuit analysis; Excel; general electrical circuit design and analysis and power converter design and analysis.
Time commitment to start is 10-20 hours/week part time. Work will include a mix of on-site and remote. Schedule is flexible with opportunity to work more in the future.
Starting rate is $20-$30/hr with plenty of upside potential as skills are learned and improved.
Location is West Seattle by White Center.
